Adrian Brzózka and Anton Sintsov dominated his rivals in the most important race staged Portugal – Algarve Bike Challenge UCI XCS C2.
Competitors raced in pairs on 3 stages. During the night 3-kilometer prologue through the streets of Tavira players JBG2 Professional MTB Team Adrian Anton received a third time, which ensured them a pretty good setting to start the next day. Saturday’s stage was a real marathon. At a distance of 100km, with almost 3000m altitude difference they were far beyond the reach of rivals. Throughout distance gradually they increased their advantage. Arriving at the finish line “royal stage” of more than 7-minute advantage won shirt leaders.
In Sunday’s challenge despite the fatigue they did not give competitors a chance for revenge. Distance 84km, with a similar elevation also defeated quickly. Thereby they sealed their position on top of the podium.
The class also showed Jacek Brzózka (JBG2 Professional MTB Team) and Bogdan Chernota (Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles MTB Team) won the race Open.
